Refund policy
We want you to be delighted with every purchase from Brits Hair and Beauty. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to put it right quickly and fairly.
1. Returns and Refunds
If you wish to return an item, please get in touch with us within 14 days of receiving your order at info@britshairandbeauty.co.uk
Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Keep proof of postage until your refund has been processed. We are not responsible for returned parcels lost in transit.
Refund process:
- Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
- Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
- Delivery costs will be refunded only if the item was faulty, damaged, or sent in error.
Return postage:
Customers are responsible for return postage unless we sent the wrong item, the item is faulty, or it arrived damaged.
2. Damaged, Lost or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or is lost in transit, please notify us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date) so we can assist you.
We may need to contact the courier or manufacturer to verify a fault before processing a refund or replacement.
Faulty electrical items that fall under a manufacturer’s warranty will be assessed before replacement or refund.
3. Electrical Items Policy
All electrical products are brand new, inspected, and tested before dispatch to ensure they are in full working order.
If you receive an electrical item that is defective or not as described:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving it.
- The product must be returned unused and in its original packaging.
- Once inspected and confirmed faulty, a full refund or replacement will be issued.
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for electrical items that have been used unless they are faulty.
4. Wigs and Ponytails
• All wigs and ponytails are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for hygiene and safety reasons.
• Customers should carefully review product details, colours, and specifications before placing an order.
• The only exception is if we send an incorrect item.
• Customers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the wrong item.
• The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging for us to process an exchange or replacement.
5. Cancellations
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
- If your order has not been dispatched, we will cancel and issue a full refund immediately.
- If your order has already been dispatched, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for a refund.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving your returned items.
We do not charge cancellation or restocking fees.
6. Substitutions and Out-of-Stock Items
If a product becomes unavailable after you’ve placed your order, we will:
- Contact you first to offer an alternative item of equal value; or
- Offer a full refund if no suitable alternative is available.
We will never send an alternative product without your prior consent.
7. Important Notes
- Some hygiene-sensitive products (such as wigs, hair extensions, or opened beauty items) cannot be returned unless faulty.
- Refunds can only be made to the same credit/debit card or payment method used for the original order.
- Refunds will not include any damage caused by misuse or improper care.
